Sleights is a large village with 2 pubs, 2 churches, butcher, baker, post office, fish and chip shop, cafe, a school, and 2 Doctors surgeries. There are regular buses running to Whitby, and there is a train station 5 minutes walk from the house. A river runs through the village and there are lots of interesting walks around the village and countryside...
