Gapplair is a modern country house currently in operation as a bed and breakfast, situated 5 miles from Cupar. Cupar has a wide range of shops including a post office, and a supermarket. Both primary and secondary schools can be found in Cupar, there are a range of private schools in St. Andrews (15miles) and Dundee (15 miles).

The area has many attractions with numerous golf courses, locally in Ladybank and Cupar, also the world famous St. Andrews old course only 15 miles away. For the walking enthusiasts you are only a short distance from some of Scotland’s most delightful coastal walks and also the Ladybank woods.

The area is highly accessible with the nearest train station situated in Cupar and the M90 offering fast access south to Edinburgh city centre and the airport. Perth is only 19 miles to the north via the A913 and St Andrews is 15 miles to the east on the A91.
