Not only is the size deceptive of this individually designed executive detached house buts its looks can be misleading as it is a grand property and only by an internal inspection can the property be truly appreciated. We have taken a great deal of pride and care in upgrading our lovely home. The unusual layout with high ceilings and large rooms gave us inspiration for the internal design features that make this home so special. It is possible to purchase our home complete with most furnishings as it was all chosen to match the designer styling. It’s a job offer in Spain that requires us to move – oh shame!

Basement and Garage: The Garage space is much larger than a standard two car, with a large Executive office to the left hand side and a Workshop complete with small store, toilet and sink, to the right hand side. To the rear of the garage are multiple storage rooms built under the main house, with one of them converted into a 200 bottle wine store. There is access to a staircase leading to the main house.

Ground Floor: Reception hall is laid with solid mahogany polished. There are double hardwood doors leading to the sunken drawing room that is accessed by three wide steps and has multi-glass panelled doors to the sitting room and dining room. Also off the reception hall is the cloakroom/toilet, large utility room, further multi=glass panelled door to the luxury kitchen/breakfast room (also with mahogany floor), the final door off the reception gives access to the main staircase that leads up from the basement areas and to first floor.

Off the landing you will find the master bedroom suite fully fitted with ‘Sharps’ wardrobes, cabinets and integral dressing table. There is a dressing area that leads through to the on-suite toilet and shower room, also off the dressing area is access to the roof balcony placed to take advantage of the magnificent views. Three further double bedrooms, two of which have fitted vanity units, one has fitted wardrobes and storage/display units. The three front bedrooms all have wonderful views over Newport and surrounding areas, with bedroom four over the rear landscaped garden. The plot area is approximately half an acre. There is a brick paved driveway with ample parking as well as tiered landscaped gardens to the front and side. The main door to the home is also accessed from the courtyard. The location is superb being only 5 minutes form Newport City centre, 20 minutes form Cardiff, 40 minutes from Bristol. The nearest motorway is the M4 - less than 10 minutes. The Midlands are accessible via the A449 (M50) with Birmingham reached in less than 90 minutes. Beautiful countryside, and many leisure activities can be found without driving any real distance – Canals, Horse Riding, Cycling, GOLF….
