8th March 2012 Print

Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire is highlighting its special website - thewoofguide.co.uk - to dog owners planning their summer 2012 getaway.

The company, which has a stand at Crufts between 8-11 March, has hundreds of pet-friendly properties which have been specially reviewed – with a paw rating – for their suitability for five categories of pet, catering for everything from pups to pensioners.

The website also details beaches where dogs are welcome, pet-friendly restaurants and pubs, along with suggested walks throughout Pembrokeshire.

‘Pooch-friendly’ cottages on offer from Coastal Cottages of Pembrokeshire include Coed Cadw Cottage, a traditional stone property in the Nevern Valley which has a large lawned garden, perfect for dogs to stretch their legs and play ball!

Up to two dogs are very welcome in this traditional cottage – which is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities – and there are lovely walks nearby and plenty of beaches that have no dog restrictions.

A seven-night holiday in Coed Cadw Cottage - which sleeps six - costs, for example, £504 in mid-April, increasing to £878 in peak season.  A sum of £10 per week, per dog applies.

The company is also highlighting adjoining (by concealed and secure doors) pet-friendly Coed Cadw Farmhouse (sleeping four), which can be let separately or combined with Coed Cadw Cottage for large families and groups of friends.
