Varcity North, Miller Homes’ latest development in Edinburgh, is building on the momentum of its new sales suite, with the launch of a second show apartment.

The ground floor apartment was unveiled as an additional showcase for the developer’s range of two bedroom apartments which start from £139,400 with MiWay, Miller Homes’ equity loan scheme.

Designed by interior designers David Phillips, the apartment features handpicked classic and understated furniture together with beautiful and sumptuous fabrics, wallpapers and accent details, culminating in a luxurious and timeless space.

Anne Marie Britton, Sales Director for Miller Homes said: “Varcity North is proving a popular development with first-time buyers and investors, and this show apartment enables us to offer buyers the opportunity to view a wider range of our two bedroom properties. We have four styles of two bedroom apartments available in this phase starting from £139,400 with MiWay, so there is a home to suit everyone.

“Using an eclectic range of fabrics, colours and textures, the designer has created an elegant, luxurious space. An ultra-stylish kitchen, master en-suite and utility room highlight the attention given to the design at Varcity North.”

The living area incorporates statement pieces using soft, cream fabrics and contrasting chrome finishes including a classic design floor light. The wallpaper is an elegant textured truffle stripe and together with a striking black and wood contrast arm chair, sets the tone of modern sophistication.

The dining room brings the living area and kitchen together and features a round table with soft, velvet dining chairs in pale slate grey.

The stunning kitchen is a wonderful combination of red and white gloss units, finished with a grey mottled work surface. Offering practicality, this area is luxurious and contemporary creating a space housebuyers will be keen to develop their culinary magic in.

The master bedroom which uses a reflective wallpaper, with a hint of safari, for the feature wall and an upholstered bed in an opulent, chocolate brown fabric gives the room a luxuriant quality. Crystal drop table lamps adorn the bedside tables further reinforcing the decadent style of the room.

The second bedroom is classic in style. The monochrome palette combined with warm accent colours brings warmth to the room. A deep buttoned black leather bed, dark purple table lamps and white textured wallpaper sit alongside scatter cushions in rich chocolate colours.

Varcity North is a development of 209 apartments which includes the conversion of the former Telford College building in North Edinburgh.
