Signs of a Spring revival in the Solihull housing market have definitely arrived in Castle Bromwich, which is experiencing its strongest levels of interests from prospective buyers since 2008.

The recent introduction of part exchange and swift sell schemes at The Green have prompted a flurry of activity with offers on three of the four bedroom spacious detached houses from Cameron Homes. Interest continues to be high in the remaining properties which have garages and extensive frontages, priced from £229,995 on a special shared equity deal with Cameron Homes.

Currently on release and available for a swift move is the Winchester on plot 2, with a drive that’s big enough to park four cars, and a unique version of the Oxford on plot 8 with its village green outlook.

Both properties benefit from large high specification open plan kitchens by Paula Rosa, complete with integrated appliances, offering added dining and family living space. Porcelanosa ceramic tiling is provided as standard to kitchen, utility room, bathroom, en suite and cloakroom from an exclusive range.

Ideal for families and professionals in search of spacious accommodation with a generously sized living room and en-suite master bedroom, these four bed detached properties tick all the boxes with a convenient location, providing excellent transportation links to Solihull, Birmingham Airport and Birmingham City Centre.

According to Angela Hancox, area manager for Shipways Estate Agency in Castle Bromwich, property is definitely on the move with sales up 50% on last year and the £180K - £250k second hand market band showing real signs of breakthrough.

As she explained: “The Green is the only new development in the area, and with just 14 properties beside the historic village green, it has certainly raised the bar in terms of design quality and accommodation in Castle Bromwich.

“These new homes provide a lifestyle dream for families and the recent opening of the Oxford Show Home reinforces both the appeal of these traditionally built contemporary homes designed for modern living. There are simply no other new homes offering the standard of quality and value around”, she added.

Cameron Homes is equally excited about this development, and being a premier private house builder can offer more innovative ways to help purchasers secure their dream home.

As Andy Gough, the sales director at Cameron Homes points out: “No two house purchasers are the same, which is why we like to treat everyone as individuals. We can also tailor a purchase deal to suit which accounts for different financial circumstances, with the emphasis on finding solutions to make your dream home a reality.”

Shared equity is another option that Cameron Homes may consider at The Green, which enables purchasers to defer a percentage of the full selling property price for 10 years, in order to help bridge any mortgage gap or shortfall. There is no interest or rent to pay and the purchaser owns the home 100%.

The Show Home and Sales Centre at The Green is open from Thursday to Monday from 11.00 am – 5.00 pm. Appointments at other times can be made to suit.
