15th June 2012 Print

TalkTalk, the broadband, home phone and mobile company, has introduced a competitive phone and broadband deal, offering huge savings compared with BT, Sky and Virgin Media.

Britain’s homes can now make significant savings by taking TalkTalk with Value Line Rental**. This offers line rental, unlimited downloads for 12 months, Super Safe boost and free evening and weekend calls for just £14.75 per month. The deal represents a saving of £148 when compared with an equivalent BT package over 12 months or £212 over an 18 month BT contract.

The deal also includes 3 months free Mobile Minute boost, which gives customers 500 minutes of free calls to mobiles from your landline each month – normally £5 per month – a unique offer not currently available with any other major provider.

For those wanting unlimited broadband and calls to landlines, TalkTalk Plus is also on offer at six months half price phone and broadband. With Value Line Rental, that’s just £16.75 per month for your first six months. This price includes line rental, unlimited evening and weekend calls, a £30 welcome credit for new customers and 3 months Mobile Minutes Boost. It offers a massive saving of £350 compared with BT over an 18 month contract.

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director TalkTalk says: “We know just how much our customers love getting great value, especially during these tough economic times. We’re proud to once again be offering unbeatable home and broadband packages at affordable prices. Not only are we now introducing the best deal in Britain, but all our packages also come with our award winning HomeSafe service, which helps to parents to protect their children online, free of charge.”

TalkTalk’s unique HomeSafe security product is a simple tool that parents can use to help keep their children safer online. HomeSafe allows parents to restrict access to a range of content, including pornography, gambling and violence. This is done at a network level, so the content is blocked on all devices, including games consoles, phones and tablets. So far over 385,000 customers have activated HomeSafe.
