With the average age of first time buyers ever increasing, Bloor Homes is pleased to announce that younger first time buyers are able to secure a new home at its stunning new collection of properties at St Mary’s Gate, located in the ancient village of Bozeat, Northampton.

Samantha Pringle (22) and her boyfriend Jamie (26) recently purchased a three bedroom property at the popular new homes development. Samantha comments: “I never expected to be able to buy so soon as we thought we would have to save for another year or two in order to be able to afford a new home. However, when my parents saw an advertisement for St Mary’s Gate, we went to visit and I fell in love with it straight away! Plus Bloor Homes were offering a great deal which meant we needed a deposit of just 5%. That meant we could buy now.”
Samantha and Jamie didn’t waste any time: they put a deposit down on three bedroom ‘Darsham’ housetype the following week: “It has all happened very quickly, but I’m not complaining!” smiles Samantha.

Samantha works as a therapy assistant on the community stroke team at Northampton General Hospital, while Jamie, 26, is a CAD engineer with Nissan in Milton Keynes. So the location of St Mary’s Gate, almost equidistant between Northampton and Milton Keynes, makes commuting a dream for both of them. And Samantha really is coming home: she grew up in the neighbouring village of Wollaston, where her parents still live.

Offering an attractive and spacious living space that would suit either a couple or young family, The Darsham is designed to an extremely high standard of specification and is priced from £176,950.

Features include a superbly fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, an open plan lounge/diner with French doors opening out onto the back garden, a downstairs WC and store cupboard. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms, a master with en-suite and fitted wardrobes and a further family bathroom. Plus, there is a choice of either a garage or 2 allocated parking spaces. As standard there are spotlights to the kitchen, bathroom and en-suite and dependent on the stage of build, a choice of finishes.

St Mary’s Gate offers an opportunity to purchase a brand new home in an area surrounded by plenty of green open countryside. Each house type has been sympathetically designed to complement the local vernacular and to reflect the peaceful environment that comes from living in a rural location.

To help make that move a little less costly and easier, Bloor Homes is offering a 105% Part Exchange incentive on some of the properties. By taking advantage of this scheme the purchaser will not have to pay any estate agents’ commission and legal fees, and the stamp duty is paid for you.

Bozeat has all the amenities associated with a village such as a local shop, post office, bus service, clubs, associations and youth organisations, but it is also well connected with Wellingborough, Milton Keynes and Northampton offering the buzz of high street shopping and entertainment.

For commuting into London, the rail links from Wellingborough Station (approx. 6.5 miles away) provide an excellent service into St Pancras.
