Summer is upon us and one thing is for sure, the recent weather is a constant reminder that this seasons must-have is versatile footwear. Just because the raindrops are falling though it doesn’t mean you don’t want to look sassy, sexy and fabulous too. We’re here to help you out with some of the best shoes for summer that we’ve discovered to keep you looking cool and relaxed, whatever’s happening outside.

Wedges

We’ve discovered this pair of black espadrilles wedges, from Office that we just love. They’ll look great in the sunshine, especially as evening falls and they’ll have you towering above the puddles if the rain does come.

Wear them with long flowing maxi dresses, or cut off denim shorts if you dare!

Loafers

Chatham Marine are offering this pair of stylish loafers, called Bardot after the famous French model and Actress, Brigitte Bardot. You will look ever inch as chic as their French namesake in these easy to wear loafers and you’ll feel like your floating on air too. We just love them and think that they look great with anything, from a pair of smart skinny jeans, to a cute short skirt.

Boat Shoes

These will never go out of fashion and quality lasts, so that’s why we love Chatham’s Classic Men’s Deck Shoe. We chose ‘Seahorse’ brown, because it goes with anything from navy, to black to any funky summer colour you can throw at it! Boat shoes are waterproof and hardwearing and are just as suitable for wearing on the high street as by the water. We think they’re great and we’re sure that your man will too.

Bright Sandals

Be ready for the sunshine when it comes and treat yourself to a pair of bright sandals from Office. This pair tick all the boxes: they are bright, cute and practical too and will look great with a floaty summer dress or a well cut pair of shorts and will even look good with jeans, for evening or if  it’s cooler.

The gold beaded detail gives them that Rivera vibe, that will make you feel like you’re holidaying even if your not far from home!

Wellies

A Festival staple, these are also making an appearance on high streets and beaches near you. And why not?! Now that they come in such a wide range of colours and styles, the humble Wellington Boot has moved a long way from its dog-walking predecessor. We love this vibrant purple pair by Hunter for Schuh. They’re so glossy they look like gumdrops and will be fabulous wherever you decide to wear them.
