Miller Homes to host investor event in Edinburgh

Miller Homes, the 5 star housebuilder, is opening the doors at its flagship development at Varcity South in Edinburgh to host a fact-finding evening for investors looking to buy a property to rent in the Capital. Supported by local mortgage, rental and tax experts, the event will be held at their Varcity South development, Crewe Road South, Edinburgh on Thursday 16th August 2012, from 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

Figures show that the number of people renting private properties in Scotland has almost doubled in the past five years and between its prestigious Universities bringing in 100,000 students annually and over four million tourists flocking in for the Festival each year, Edinburgh remains a destination of choice.

Combined with demand rising for good quality rental properties amongst people unable to get on to the property ladder themselves, the city is an increasingly buoyant market for buy-to-let.
