Make a change for the better at Sandy Lane

Moving up to a bigger, better, brand new home at Sandy Lane, part of Buckshaw Village, near Chorley, can be easy if you use Redrow’s part exchange service.

Customers who sign up for this way of moving will have a guaranteed ‘cash buyer’ for their existing property; they won’t find themselves stuck in a housing chain that’s going nowhere and they will avoid paying any estate agent’s fees.

The easy to follow process will be explained in a special open day being held at Sandy Lane on Saturday, August 18.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “Part-exchange is designed to make moving quick, easy and pain-free. It’s proved particularly popular at Sandy Lane, where the size and scale of the four and five-bedroom executive detached homes means they are most likely to attract families moving up the property ladder.

“We recently took four part exchange enquiries in just one week, which shows the appeal of our traditional looking Arts & Crafts influenced homes with their bright, spacious and high specification interiors.”

Sandy Lane currently features homes from £345,995 to £559,995. Those using part-exchange generally need to be moving up to something that costs at least 35% more than their existing property is worth.

“If the would-be home buyer’s existing property is suitable for part-exchange and the price differential is sufficient we’ll deal with all the paperwork, get independent valuations and, essentially, act as a cash buyer. We even guarantee to value their property and make an offer within seven days or less. This leaves the customer free to focus on moving to their brand new Redrow home without worrying about selling the one they’ve outgrown or want to leave behind,” Claire added.

As an added incentive, Redrow will also pay the stamp duty on selected new homes reserved during the open day on August 18. On a home costing £345,995 that’s a ‘gift’ worth over £10,000.

Redrow’s homes at Sandy Lane boast a superb specification. Higher than average ceilings emphasise the light and airy nature of the homes; granite work surfaces are standard in the kitchens and most of the properties feature American-style fridge freezers as well as other built-in appliances. Properties available have between one and four en-suite bathrooms and in some styles the master bedroom enjoys the added glamour of a walk-in wardrobe.

Close to Shaw Hill Golf Club, Sandy Lane enjoys easy access to open spaces, providing residents the opportunity to play, walk and unwind while still benefitting from the local amenities and sense of community of Buckshaw Village, with its shops, community centre, sports pitches and pub / restaurant. The homes are a haven for commuters, with Buckshaw Parkway train station now open and offering frequent services to and from Manchester and Preston, plus the M6 and M61 motorways just minutes away.
