Free travel on London transport for a year is just one of an assortment of special summer incentives that leading affordable housing provider Family Mosaic is currently offering to homebuyers at its New Festival Quarter development in Poplar, E14.

Purchasers at the development have the opportunity to choose from one of four new incentives – a travel card for zones 1 to 3 for a year, a £500 John Lewis voucher, a £500 voucher for the Apple store or £500 worth of vouchers for Evans Cycles!

Lauren Nicholson, Head of Marketing at Family Mosaic, comments: “We want to welcome buyers to New Festival Quarter with a few extras to make their lives easier, including a travel card to ease the cost of commuting. East London has become more of a hotspot for first time buyers following the improvements to local amenities and infrastructure that have been put in place for the Olympics. Now is definitely the right time to buy here.”

New Festival Quarter is located a short walk from Langdon Park and All Saints DLR stations from where it is just seven minutes to Canary Wharf and nine minutes to Stratford, making it an ideal commuting base. Set across four buildings, this contemporary new community offers an impressive selection of on-site amenities not usually found in affordable housing, including a 24-hour concierge, private gym and residents’ roof garden.

The homes at New Festival Quarter are available under Family Mosaic’s shared ownership scheme, allowing purchasers to buy the share of their home that they can afford (at least 35%), and pay a subsidised rent on the remaining share of the property. To be eligible for the scheme, buyers interested in a one or two bedroom apartment need to be earning less than £64,300 a year while those looking to secure a three bedroom apartment need to earn less than £77,200 as the maximum household income.

All of the apartments feature generous external spaces in the form of terraces or balconies, some offer a dual aspect and some of the two and three bedroom apartments feature en-suite bathrooms to the master bedroom. Interiors are finished to a high standard, with sleek contemporary kitchens including fully integrated Zanussi appliances, stylish white bathroom suites and oak finish timber flooring. The spacious open plan living spaces are just waiting for buyers to add their personal stamp with the help of their John Lewis and Apple vouchers.

For security and peace of mind, each home is fitted with a video entryphone system and energy efficient heating and lighting, meaning lower utility bills for the homeowner. Secure, covered cycle parking is available for all residents, and is ready to use once they have got their hands on a new bicycle thanks to the Evans Cycles vouchers.

Homes at New Festival Quarter are priced from £76,125 for a 35% share of a one-bedroom apartment with full market value of £217,500, based on a minimum single income of £29,941. For further information, visit familymosaicsales.co.uk.
