Barratt North East is ready to play Santa Claus in County Durham with some special deals worth up to £16,500 for buyers who can complete their purchase before the festive season.

The housebuilder has a selection of family homes at specially reduced prices which will be ready to move into for Christmas.

At its Burton Woods development in Whitworth Park, Spennymoor, a 3-bedroom “Norbury” townhouse has been reduced from £173,995 to £157,500.

And at The Limes in Coxhoe Barratt is offering seasonal savings on two homes: a “Woodcote” 4-bedroom townhouse, down to £179,500 from £189,500, and a 4-bedroom detached “Gloucester” reduced from £196,500 to £191,500.

The housebuilder is also offering part exchange to existing homeowners, which means they could stay in their current home over Christmas and move in after New Year if they prefer.

“With Christmas fast approaching people perhaps think they have left it too late to move into their dream home, but I’d like to assure them that there’s still time,” said Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at Barratt North East.

“By reserving now they could be in their new home for the holiday period. And as our homes all come complete with energy efficient heating and high standards of insulation, they can look forward to a cosy Christmas and New Year.

“We’ll consider part-exchange, which removes all the uncertainty for move-up buyers.

“Barratt is effectively a cash buyer enabling you to relax without the worry and cost of selling your property. There’s no hassle, no estate agent fees or last-minute price haggling. We take care of everything.”
