New £20 M&S voucher offer with MBNA Platinum Credit Card

8th November 2012 Print

MBNA is offering new customers the chance to get their hands on a £20 Marks and Spencer voucher when they apply for the MBNA Platinum Credit Card exclusively through its website.

The new offer, available exclusively on MBNA's website for the next month, applies to the MBNA Platinum Credit Card, which offers 20 months at zero per cent interest for all balance transfers made in the first 60 days.

New customers will need to make one or more balance transfers to the card totalling £2,500 or more within the first 60 days of opening the account to be eligible for the free voucher offer.

The new offer replaces the previous MBNA website exclusive - a low-fee Platinum Credit Card offering 14 months at zero per cent interest on balance transfers, with a 1.25 per cent fee.

Michael Donald, MBNA's Business Development and Marketing executive, said:  "We're continuing to make a range of new and exclusive credit card offers available for customers coming directly to our website.

"This latest offer will be available for around a month, in the run up to Christmas, as part of our commitment to continually looking to expand the credit card options available to consumers and providing fantastic value for people looking for their next credit card."

The deal for new customers offers zero per cent interest for 20 months on balance transfers and money transfers from the date the account is opened as long as they are made within the first 60 days of opening an account (a 2.50 per cent handling fee applies to balance transfers; a four per cent fee applies to money transfers).

The card also offers zero per cent on purchases for three months from the date the account is opened.

Representative example 16.9% p.a. variable on card purchases. This is equivalent to 16.9% APR representative variable based on a credit limit of £1200.

The new credit card from MBNA is contactless-enabled.
