With only four homes remaining at the highly sought-after Cobblers Hall development in Newton Aycliffe from Miller Homes, buyers should act quickly to avoid missing out.

Growing families searching for more space could now make the move they need to a larger home after the five-star housebuilder introduced additional purchase incentive schemes at its development, which is located close to the popular Aycliffe Nature Walk.

Amongst Cobblers Hall’s final four homes, all of which are ready to move into, is the development’s showhome, The Stratford. This five-bedroom detached home, with attached single garage, is priced at £219,950.

Buyers can also choose from the four-bedroom detached Ragdale, with attached single garage, priced at £214,950 and the four-bedroom detached Almond, with detached single garage, which is priced at £219,000. All three homes are now available through Miller’s Home Exchange scheme which allows homeowners to make the move they need with a guaranteed buyer for their current property.

Also available is the three-bedroom semi-detached Carron with integral single garage. Priced at £150,000 this home is now available on Firstbuy, which means people could only pay £120,000 now.

Firstbuy is a Government purchase assistance scheme for first time buyers and those who require some financial assistance to buy a new home and is expected to assist around 10,500 buyers onto the property ladder over the next two years.

If you qualify for the Firstbuy scheme you will have the opportunity to select one of the Firstbuy properties available from Miller Homes of which you will own 100% of the property but only fund as little as 80% of the value now, with both Miller Homes and the Government equally funding the remaining 20% in the form of an equity loan.

Steve McElroy, North East sales director at Miller Homes, said “Located in the sought-after residential area on the northern edge of Newton Aycliffe, Cobblers Hall has been hugely popular amongst growing families and with only four homes remaining buyers shouldn’t delay in visiting the development.

“House hunters who choose a Miller home can enjoy a range of benefits that come with owning a new build home including our two year customer care service, a 10-year industry guarantee offered by The National House Building Council and improved energy efficiency which could substantially reduce energy bills by up to £250 a year.

“For those in need of a helping hand to secure their dream home there are a number of purchase incentives available at Cobblers Hall which can mean that the deposit required by house hunters to secure their new home is often less than people think.”

The Government-backed NewBuy 95% mortgage scheme is also available on a range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes across the North East, including at Cobblers Hall, that cater for a variety of buyers, from first-time buyers to growing families and downsizers, up to a maximum value of £500,000 subject to satisfying lender criteria.
