With fewer than 10 homes still available, time is running out for those who want to move to Old Gate Park in Penwortham.

The good news for those who are yet to sell their existing property is that part exchange is available. The time and money saving incentive means customers could be just weeks away from starting a new life in a brand new home.

And to explain the advantages of buying with part exchange, Redrow is holding a special event at Old Gate Park on Sunday (February 17).

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explains: “According to home.co.uk, properties in Preston are on the market for around seven months and those who rely on traditional selling methods could find they’ve left it too late to secure one of the final homes at Old Gate Park. If you’ve decided it’s time to move, come along to our part exchange event and talk to us about how part exchange could help you move sooner rather than later.”

Under part exchange Redrow will arrange for a customer’s current property to be valued and aim to make them an offer within a few days. Redrow then effectively acts as a guaranteed cash buyer so there’s no need for purchasers to worry about getting caught up in a chain or wait for the previous owner to move out. Plus there are no agent’s fees to pay.

Old Gate Park in Penwortham offers four-bedroom family homes in a choice of styles, with prices from £249,995. Some of the properties including the Salisbury, available at £284,995 are build complete and ready to move into.

Designed with modern family living in mind, the Salisbury features an open plan kitchen and dining room that’s full of natural light thanks to French doors that lead on to the rear garden. And like all new Redrow homes, the kitchen is well equipped with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob and fridge freezer plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.

There’s also a separate lounge, a study that’s ideal for those who want to work away from the hustle and bustle of family life, downstairs cloaks and a handy utility to keep the washer and dryer out of the kitchen.

Upstairs, two of the four bedrooms boast an en-suite to complement the family bathroom.

To discover how Redrow could help you climb the property ladder, visit Old Gate Park in Claytongate Drive this Saturday (February 17).
