Savills’ residential development sales team in Bristol has been instructed by Linden Homes to market the new apartments at The Bristol County Ground, home to Gloucestershire County Cricket Club.

The scheme of 147 apartments will offer a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, many with views over the pitch. The scheme is due to launch in summer 2013.

George Cardale, Savills’ head of residential development sales in Bristol comments, “This new development will not only improve the chances of securing international cricket in Bristol, but also provide a location like no other for those seeking an apartment in the city.

“Many of the apartments will look out over the pitch, providing cricket lovers with the ultimate room with a view. We’re excited to be involved with marketing this one off scheme.

‘’St Andrews has become a very popular and desirable residential location, and with its proximity to Gloucester Road, access to open space and links into and out of the city, it is now considered as one of the prime suburban locations in Bristol.’’

Adrian Bird, Sales Director at Linden Homes adds, “We have worked with Savills on a number of schemes in the city including Great Western Dockyard and what is currently the fastest selling harbourside scheme, The Purifier & Boat House. We have instructed Savills again based on their proven track record and profile in the city.”

Savills’ development team brokered the original agreement between Gloucestershire County Cricket Club and Linden Homes, making Linden the Club’s developer partner.
