More help for buyers in Weedon Bec

With 95% mortgages now available with part exchange, it’s now even easier to make a move to a brand new Redrow home in Weedon Bec.

Thanks to a recent change in the rules, which had previously prevented part exchange being used in conjunction with 95% mortgages under the NewBuy initiative, more people than ever can get valuable help to move to Harmans Chase.

It’s a welcome boost for those who want and need somewhere larger to raise a family but perhaps don’t have substantial equity in the home they’re moving from.

Helen McGill, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Midlands), said: “Feedback from visitors to the show homes at Harmans Chase is that they love the combination of traditional exteriors and bright modern interiors, but that they feel they won’t be able to move here. They may have a house to sell, fear that a lack of equity in their current property could prevent them from moving or it could be a combination of the two.

“The good news is that with NewBuy, a brand new home is more affordable than ever before. And part exchange takes the stress and hassle away as customers will simply be able to trade in their old home towards the cost of a new one. Combining NewBuy and part exchange means there really is no reason not to make that move.”

Part exchange and NewBuy are still available to use as standalone incentives and Redrow will tailor packages to suit individual customers.

Harmans Chase features three and four-bedroom homes, with current prices from £214,995.

Thanks to NewBuy customers could find that a deposit of around £11,000 is enough to secure one of the stylish properties.

They all boast well equipped kitchens with integrated top brand name appliances including oven, hob, microwave and fridge freezer; while bathrooms and en-suites enjoy quality fixtures and fittings.

Harmans Chase is located in Harmans Way in Weedon Bec, or Weedon as it’s more often known. The village lies at the crossroads of the A5 and A45, between Daventry and Northampton and close to the M1 motorway. Local amenities include shops, schools and pubs, a village hall with clubs and societies for all ages that help create a sense of community. There are also sports fields, recreation areas and local footpaths, including a stretch of the 110-mile Nene Way and towpaths along the Grand Union Canal.

To discover more about the benefits of moving to Harmans Chase, visit the show homes and marketing suite, open daily from 10am to 5.30pm.
