A flutter on the horses has never been more profitable, with Brits set to pocket thousands in cashback from exclusive deals during the Cheltenham Festival, according to data from Quidco, the UK cashback site.

Kicking off on 12th March and culminating in the Gold Cup race on 15th, the Cheltenham Festival never fails to cause a surge in online betting. Last year alone saw a 294% increase in spend on gambling during the Festival, versus the preceding week.

Picking a winner may be tricky, but gamblers are guaranteed a dead cert if they place their bets through Quidco. Last year, £150k was pocketed by cash conscious consumers on gambling purchases made during major horse racing events, including Cheltenham Festival, The Grand National, Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood.

Between 10th and 12th March, Paddy Power will be offering an exclusive £26 cashback for new users that register through the site. Plus, the bookmaker is even offering moneyback on all losers if hot favourite, Hurricane Fly, romps to victory.

Andy Oldham, Managing Director at Quidco comments: "Having a bet can be great fun, but losing money rarely raises a smile amongst savvy shoppers. With exclusive offers available for those who fancy a flutter, we're delighted to be offering some guaranteed Quidco cashback for gamblers as Cheltenham gets underway. That way, our members can feel like winners, even if they fail to pick them on the racecourse."

Cheltenham Festival gambling offers currently include:

Paddy Power: EXCLUSIVE £26 cashback for new registrations

Ladbrokes: Up to £50 free bets + £20 cashback

Coral: £50 free bet + £12.50 cashback

Betfair: Get a free £25 bet + £10 cashback when you deposit/wager at least £10
