Families looking for a spacious seaside retreat could make their dream a reality after five-star housebuilder Miller Homes released a further nine homes at its Mariners Way development in Seaham.

The new release of homes at the popular development, which opened in January 2012, is the final phase at Mariners Way and includes a range of four-bedroom family homes.

Amongst the newly-released homes is the four-bedroom Rolland and the four-bedroom Beckett, all of which have picturesque views overlooking the pitch of Seaham Park Cricket Club.

Priced from £189,950, The Rolland offers spacious family living spread across three floors, with the whole top floor dedicated to the master bedroom, complete with en-suite, while The Beckett, with integral single garage, offers a contemporary layout for modern family life and is available priced from £194,950.

Other homes also available at the Seaham development include the three-bedroom Hawthorne, priced from £152,950, and the three-bedroom Tolkien, which is priced from £154,950.

Potential homebuyers interested in Mariners Way should visit the development’s Rolland show home and its Tolkien view home, which are available for people to take a look around.

Miller Homes’ North East sales director Steve McElroy said: “Since launching Mariners Way in Seaham little over a year ago we have received huge interest in the site thanks to its high-quality homes and fantastic location, which is just a short walk from the beautiful North Beach.

“This new release of modern family homes is the development’s final phase so house hunters should not delay in visiting our sales centres. We have a selection of purchase schemes available to help people secure their dream home, including an enhanced incentive which allows us to offer the Government-backed NewBuy scheme alongside Home Exchange.”

It was announced by Miller Homes last month that the leading housebuilder would now be offering the 95% mortgage scheme NewBuy with its Home Exchange scheme. This means that those interested in a new Miller home but who need to sell their existing property first would have a guaranteed buyer through Miller Homes and only need a 5% deposit to purchase their new home using the government-backed incentive scheme NewBuy.
