Leading housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has unveiled a stunning new selection of high-quality homes at its sought-after Saxon Fields development in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.

Following on from the exceptional success of the first phase of properties, the hotly-anticipated second phase has been released to satisfy continuing demand for great-value homes in a convenient location.

The new selection includes a wide range of homes which are available with the Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme. This helpful money-saving incentive enables eligible homebuyers to secure any new home at Saxon Fields for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit.

Help to Buy shared equity is available to both first-time buyers and existing homeowners on new-build properties priced up to £600,000, and there is no salary cap for customers taking advantage of the scheme.

The newly-released four-bedroom semi-detached ‘Kentdale’, for example, can be purchased through Help to Buy for 80% of its full £244,950 price – that’s just £195,960, including a 5% deposit of only £12,248.

Christine Scarborough, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to unveil our brand new phase of beautiful new homes at Saxon Fields in response to the tremendous success of the first selection of properties at this hugely popular development.

“The Help to Buy scheme looks set to boost interest in our new homes even further, so I’d urge would-be buyers hoping to join our many satisfied customers here to get in touch without delay.”

The superb selection of new homes now on sale at Saxon Fields includes two-bedroom apartments and starter homes from only £139,950, four-bedroom houses from just £244,950, and five-bedroom detached properties from £345,000.

All new homes are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

As an alternative to Help to Buy shared equity, the Government-backed NewBuy scheme is also available at Saxon Fields, offering credit-worthy purchasers the opportunity to secure their ideal home with a 95% mortgage and a 5% deposit. Full details of all homebuyer incentives are available from the Sales Executive.

Saxon Fields enjoys a sought-after location in the popular new community of King’s Reach, which is situated to the south-east of Biggleswade town centre, bordered by open countryside yet within easy reach of day-to-day facilities.

King’s Reach offers plenty of opportunities for pleasant walks and cycle rides, while Biggleswade boasts a wide selection of high street and independent shops, a bustling weekly market, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, health facilities, a cinema and a leisure centre and pool.

For commuters, Biggleswade railway station is only a mile from the development and runs frequent services to London King’s Cross in as little as 35 minutes, while the A1 for the capital and the north is just half a mile from home.

Homebuyers hoping to take advantage of Help to Buy at Saxon Fields can visit the Sales Information Centre, located in Saxon Drive, Biggleswade, and open daily from 10am to 5.30pm (Mondays 2pm to 5.30pm). Alternatively, log on to taylorwimpey.co.uk/norththames.
