Spring into a new home with Help to Buy
Miller Homes East Midlands is inviting buyers in the region to spring into a new property with Help to Buy.
The award winning housebuilder is offering a range of incentives, including the new Government scheme, to make the buying process as easy as possible for home movers and first time buyers.
The spring season sees house-hunters stepping up the search for their perfect property and Miller Homes East Midlands is running special sessions so they can find out more about the Help to Buy scheme.
Paul Walters, associate director for Miller Homes East Midlands said: “We have already seen an upsurge in enquiries since we started offering Help to Buy to our customers as it gives extra help to those who only have a small deposit.
“Many buyers are still a little bit unsure about how it works and if it applies to them, so we hope by offering Help to Buy weekends, we can give clear and simple advice to help them make their next move.”
Help to Buy offers assistance for buyers who only have a small deposit of around 5% through the provision of a 20% equity loan from the Government for those who meet the qualifying criteria, meaning buyers only need to secure up to a 75% mortgage from a bank or building society.
This is an extension of the existing FirstBuy scheme and applies to new build properties up to the value of £600,000 in England.
Miller Homes has a number of developments in the East Midlands, including Dukesmead in Bingham, Nottinghamshire, Deansleigh in Lincoln and the newly launched Brookfields in Sileby and Weavers Court, Castle Donington.
