Taylor Wimpey is urging house hunters looking to move to Wichelstowe in Swindon to visit the development soon as there are only four properties remaining that will be available to move into this year.

Since its launch, Wichelstowe has been extremely popular with buyers keen to be part of this thriving new community. There are now only four homes that can be moved into this year and there has been such interest from househunters that the housebuilder has released for sale a selection of homes which won’t be ready until 2014 to meet demand.

Darren McCormack, regional sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, comments: “The success of Wichelstowe is due to the fantastic quality of homes on offer coupled with the great location of the development. There is already a strong community growing at Wichelstowe and that is set to continue as more and more residents move into their new homes. I’d encourage anyone who is looking to move to the Swindon area to visit our development this weekend to secure your chance to be settled into your new home in time for Christmas.”

One such property remaining at Wichelstowe is the four bedroom Monkford home, which is perfect for growing families. When entering the semi-detached property, you will find a spacious kitchen/dining area and living room with French doors leading onto the rear garden as well as two convenient storage cupboards and a cloakroom.

Following the stairs to the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a further single bedroom. The master bedroom comes complete with an en-suite and a family bathroom serves the remaining rooms. Prices for the Monkford start from £250,000.

Wichelstowe is a sustainable extension to Swindon and when complete, will offer a wide range of new homes, primary schools, a country park as well as shopping and community facilities for residents. The popular neighbourhood has welcomed East Wichel Community Primary School as well as a family friendly Marston’s pub restaurant. Residents will also look forward to a new community centre which is due to be completed by the end of the year. The new homes are set amongst the rolling countryside and the neighbourhood benefits from a series of amenity lakes and rural paths and boasts one of the longest sections of canal built anywhere in the country in recent years.

Taylor Wimpey is currently selling a wide variety of homes including three, four and five bedroom properties with prices starting from £200,000. For further information about the properties remaining, visit the sales and information centre open Mondays 1pm-5pm, Tuesday to Sunday from 10am – 5pm or log onto taylorwimpey.co.uk/wichelstowe.
