One lucky house-hunter could win £30,000 towards a deposit for a brand new Taylor Wimpey home in an instant – simply by cracking the code to the leading housebuilder’s safe at its in-demand Kingsmere development in Bicester.

Between 10am and 5pm on Sunday 1st September, visitors to Kingsmere can take part in the free-to-enter competition to win the £30,000 deposit.

All they need to do is register their details, and then punch a six-digit code of their choice into the Taylor Wimpey safe. If their combination cracks the code to open the safe, the amazing prize is all theirs!

Darren McCormack, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This is an amazing opportunity to win £30,000 to put towards a deposit for a brand new home at Kingsmere in an instant – and with this competition there are no catches and anyone over 18 can have a go.

“Our Crack the Safe event is also a great time to take a look around the fabulous show homes at this popular new community, and find out about the superb incentives we can offer first-time buyers and those with a property to sell.”

There’s a selection of stylish new three, four and five-bedroom homes ready to reserve now at Kingsmere, with prices starting from as little as £280,000.

The Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme is available now at the development, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit.

Part Exchange is also available, while the NewBuy initiative gives credit-worthy purchasers in a variety of circumstances the chance to access their ideal home with a 95% mortgage.

Kingsmere is an attractive new village located in a prime position on the south-western fringes of the pretty Oxfordshire market town of Bicester, within easy reach of the M40 and the town’s two railway stations.

In addition to the high-quality homes there, the new community will over time benefit from a new primary and a secondary school, a village centre with shops, community and health facilities, a business park and a hotel.

Two major recreational areas are being created at Kingsmere, together with a new sports village with outdoor pitches, a running track and changing facilities, while the Chesterton Golf and Country Club is located nearby.

Bicester town centre benefits from a variety of shops, supermarkets, traditional pubs and places to eat and the town is also home to the Bicester Village outlet retail centre which attracts 3 million visitors a year.

Commuters will appreciate Kingsmere is just three miles from junction 9 of the M40 for quick links to Birmingham and London, and the A34 for Oxford, which is 12 miles away. Bicester North and Bicester Town railway stations, meanwhile, provide convenient services to Birmingham, London, Oxford and the West Country.

The Crack the Safe event will be held between 10am and 5pm on Sunday 1st September at the Kingsmere Sales Information Centre, located off Middleton Stoney Road, Bicester, OX26 1RS. The development is also open daily between the same hours (Mondays 1.30pm to 5pm and late nights on Thursdays until 7pm).
