House-hunters or investors looking for a brand new three-bedroom home in Asfordby will have to be quick, as Jelson Homes’ The Hawthorns has just two properties remaining at this popular development.

The three-bedroom semi-detached Plover house type, priced at £144,950, has proven popular as a family home. The ground floor offers a great living space, with a kitchen situated to the front of the property and a separate large lounge, which features French doors to the rear garden. There is also a handy cloakroom on this floor. Move upstairs and there are two double bedrooms – the master of which features an en-suite – a single bedroom and a family bathroom.

Jackie Woodward, sales manager for Jelson Homes, said: “I would encourage anyone who is interested in purchasing a new home to take a look as soon as possible, as I know that these properties won’t be around for much longer.

“To make moving even more affordable, the government-backed Help to Buy scheme is open to all house-hunters and works with just a five-per-cent deposit. The government provides a 20-per-cent equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.”

As with all Jelson homes, you get a lot more for your money than just bricks and mortar: each property is built to traditional standards, with features, such as solid internal walls, fitted kitchens from Jelson’s own workshop and Jelson-made PVCu windows, setting them apart from the competition.

Situated off Loughborough Road, on the edge of the popular village of Asfordby, the development is surrounded by open countryside. The area itself is well served, with a variety of shops, pubs, eateries and a garden centre, yet lies within easy access of the towns of Loughborough and Melton Mowbray.

To find out more about the final two properties remaining at The Hawthorns, visit the marketing suite, open noon–5pm, Saturday and Sunday. Alternatively, visit jelson.co.uk.
