Anyone who feels in need of rejuvenation, a bit of self-exploration or adding some spice to a relationship would be making a good start by heading to Brighton & Hove this autumn, where the city will be hosting both The Love, Sex and Intimacy Fair and the Mind Body and Spirit Festival.

The first ever Love, Sex and Intimacy Fair lovesexandintimacy.co.uk  (19th-20th October at Hove Town Hall. Entry from £8) has something for everyone, whether they might be single, straight, gay, in a happy relationship or in one that has some challenges with a host of fascinating talks and workshops exploring many aspects including internet dating, sexuality, LBGT topics and sexual health. There will a chance to try the latest trend in speed dating and to explore Tantra - what it is and how it might help strengthen relationships.  There will also be an introduction to Burlesque and intimate dance all taking place in a relaxed and fun environment.

There will be an accompanying exhibition which will have an array of interesting and tantalising products for visitors to delight over, including sexy clothing for him and her, the great love survey and lots of interactive things to do. The internationally famous, Brighton-based artist Jamie McCartney (The Great Wall of Vagina) will also be exhibiting new works and sculptures at the fair along with the opportunity to see and buy beautiful examples of life drawing and erotic art and photography.  The fair’s evening entertainment will be a raucous night of neoburlesque, comedy, singers, aerial performers and more.

The Mind, Body and Spirit Festival mindbodyspirit.co.uk/brighton (1 – 3 November at The Brighton Centre.  Entry £10, workshops priced individually) is now enjoying its 36th year as Europe’s iconic hub for inspiration, exploration and all the delights that celebrate and affirm the union of the Mind Body Spirit connections.

Coming to Brighton for the first time, The Mind Body Spirit extravaganza offers like-minded people shared experiences and sensory indulgences with live music, a free New Wellbeing Studio with dance, TaiChi and yoga sessions, a chance to energise in the mantra lounge or bliss out in the Love Dome and a pop up Temple.  The Festival also offers holistic shopping heaven and 36 inspiring workshops aimed to fill attendees with confidence and energy.
