Homeowners in East Sussex who had thought they couldn’t afford to make the next step up the property ladder – or who are struggling to sell their existing property – can get moving thanks to Taylor Wimpey!

The leading housebuilder is giving would-be buyers the chance to combine the Help to Buy scheme with its easymover package for a quick and affordable way to purchase at this sought-after collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes in Buxted.

Under Help to Buy those looking to move on from an existing property can purchase their new home for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

The easymover initiative, meanwhile, sees Taylor Wimpey find a buyer for the purchaser’s existing property in just a few weeks.

Sarah Pasco, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We can offer buyers all the assistance they need to make that all-important next step up the property ladder, whether they need to move to provide extra space for a growing family or have simply outgrown their old home.

“Beechbrook Park, with its wonderful range of family-size properties, is becoming a really sought-after development and I would urge anyone thinking of combining Help to Buy and easymover to secure their ideal home here to act now – before someone else beats them to it!”

There’s a superb selection of homes currently available at Beechbrook Park, including three-bedroom designs from £260,000, four-bedroom properties from £395,000 and five-bedroom detached houses from £415,000.

The five-bedroom ‘Weald’, for example, is available from £415,000 and features a contemporary kitchen/dining room and a spacious lounge, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom. Two additional bedrooms and a shower room can be found on the top floor, while a garage and additional driveway parking are located outside.

Help to Buy involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000, with no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

Under easymover, Taylor Wimpey helps existing homeowners find a buyer for their old property in just a few weeks, and can even cover the cost of estate agency fees.

With a population of 3,000, Buxted is a peaceful yet thriving community located on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Buxted has its own primary school, and a toddler group and pre-school are also located in the village, while day nurseries and secondary schooling can be found in nearby Uckfield.

There is a village store and pharmacy, a new medical centre, two pubs, plus a popular restaurant at nearby Buxted Park Hotel. There are also plans for a new community hall in Buxted, while supermarkets, high street shops and other amenities can be found in the local market towns of Uckfield, which is two miles away, and Crowborough, which is six miles from home.

A haven for commuters, Buxted has its own railway station, which offers direct services to London Bridge in about 70 minutes. The village is also handy for the A22 with its routes to Eastbourne, London and the M25 and the A26 to Tunbridge Wells 15 miles away and Brighton, 21 miles from home.
