Halloween fun and fireworks extravaganza at Ragley

Ragley, the stunning stately home in Warwickshire, is to host a week of ‘Halloween Fun’ from Saturday 26 – Thursday 31 October. Visitors of all ages can enjoy a range of Halloween inspired activities including a bat hunt, pumpkin carving, craft activities plus learn how to build a Guy Fawkes and listen to ghost stories from Sunday - Thursday in the Library. Visitors can also enjoy using the Adventure Playground with 3D maze. In addition guided tours of the state rooms will take place at 11am & 1pm from Sunday – Thursday and visitors can wander around the 10 hectares of Ragley Gardens and see the stunning Sculpture Collection. The Terrace Cafe will be open and serving tea, coffee & cake and a selection of hot and cold dishes.

The Ragley Bonfire & Fireworks Extravaganza will then take place on Saturday 2 November and is a must for all those that want to celebrate this spectacular evening. The gates will open at 5pm when visitors can enjoy plenty of entertainment including fairground rides, food stalls, licenced bar plus Touch FM will be providing live music and running competitions. The giant bonfire will be lit at 6pm and the fireworks will light up the sky at 7.30pm. The fairground rides, food stalls, licenced bar and live music will continue until 10pm.

Emma Maguire, Commercial Manager at Ragley stated “We’re delighted to be hosting our special Halloween Fun week and our dramatic Fireworks and Bonfire evening. With our lakeside setting and stunning stately home backdrop, Ragley is an amazing location for our spectacular fireworks display”.

Tickets for the Fireworks cost £5 and can be purchased on the evening. Children under 5 are FREE of charge. Admission is free to Ragley members. Car-parking is provided free of charge. Please note Ragley will be closed on Friday 1 November in preparation for the Fireworks evening.

Visitors are asked to arrive in plenty of time to avoid disappointment as the gates will close at 7.15pm prompt. Due to the popularity of the event there are likely to be queues. If cars are left overnight they must be collected between 9am & 11am on Sunday 3 November as Ragley will be closed after this time.
