Homebuyers hoping to move onto – or up – the property ladder should act now to take advantage of a superb opportunity at Taylor Wimpey’s sought-after Nelsons Quarter development in Swaffham.

The Government’s Help to Buy shared equity scheme is available now at this popular Norfolk development, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a 5% deposit.

Under Help to Buy, eligible buyers of a three-bedroom ‘Yewdale’ semi-detached house, priced £169,995, only require a 5% deposit of £8,500 and a 75% loan-to-value mortgage of £127,496 to secure the stylish property.

With a 20% loan provided by the Government, Help to Buy customers at Nelsons Quarter could look forward to low monthly mortgage payments of as little as £562.

Tammy Taylor, Regional Sales Manager for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Help to Buy customers only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage for their new property, which means they can access a much more competitive range of deals from lenders – making it even more affordable to live at this sought-after development in Swaffham.

“The incentive is available on a choice of homes, including the ‘Yewdale’, at Nelsons Quarter right now, but I’d urge anyone with their heart set on one of these stunning properties to act now – or risk missing out!”

The ‘Yewdale’ features a spacious living room, opening through French doors to the private rear garden, a contemporary open-plan kitchen/dining room and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further well-proportioned bedrooms and a family bathroom, while allocated parking spaces can be found outside.

Alternatively, two-bedroom starter homes are priced from just £128,995 at Nelsons Quarter, while four-bedroom detached houses are priced from only £229,995.

The Help to Buy shared equity scheme involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

The NewBuy initiative, meanwhile, gives credit-worthy purchasers in a variety of circumstances the chance to access their ideal home with a 95% mortgage.
