Buyers mulling over moving are being invited to join in the Christmas spirit at Buckshaw Village where a showhome has been given a festive makeover.

Already a cracker, the four-bedroom detached Balmoral showhome at Sandy Lane has been spruced up to inspire buyers and give them a taste of Christmas future.

It will be unwrapped on Thursday (November 14) when Redrow will host a late night opening until 7pm with mulled wine and mince pies.

Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), says: “All year round we have people trying to replicate the looks our interior designers have created in our showhomes and so with the festive season fast approaching we’re giving them an insight into what the best dressed homes will be wearing this yuletide. We’ve given our showhome at Sandy Lane a seasonal makeover with tasteful touches of tinsel, a classically styled tree and elegant table decorations.

“Visitors will be able to picture themselves celebrating a good old fashioned family Christmas in the style and comfort of a brand new home.”

Featuring large and luxurious designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection, the four and five-bedroom homes at Sandy Lane are a gift that keeps on giving as they’re easy to manage and economical to run.

Homeowners will be able to enjoy warmer winters without worrying about the cost of cranking up the heating thanks to a range of energy efficient measures

Open plan layouts put well equipped kitchens at the heart of the homes. Boasting integrated appliances, they’re perfect for rustling up a festive family feast.

Properties that are being built now will be ready to move into in early 2014.

Prices at Sandy Lane start from £339,995 for a five-bedroom Hampstead. Redrow also has a range of two, three and four-bedroom properties throughout Buckshaw Village at The Orchard, Cedar Walk and The Village Green.

They’re all available with Help to Buy, the government scheme that makes new homes easier to afford by allowing customers to take out an equity loan for up to 20% of the price, interest free for five years. They then only need a 75% mortgage and 5% deposit to purchase their new home.

Join Redrow for mince pies and mulled wine at Sandy Lane from 11.30am to 7pm on Thursday (November 14).
