The UK’s favourite cocktail bar, Revolution is bringing change to Bath after choosing its venue on George Street as the latest bar to receive a complete overhaul. A six-figure investment will transform the existing site to enhance its offer as a premium drinking and dining venue.

Located in the heart of Bath city centre, the imposing building which once housed the city’s post office has been sympathetically renovated to reflect its historic roots whilst retaining its contemporary bar style. The venue will benefit from a brand new entrance allowing the upper floor to become a secluded space, perfect for private parties. The impressive new-look venue will also offer plush surroundings, hostess table service and a quirky yet elegant finish making it the ideal setting for long lunches, after work cocktails and late night fun.

The bar officially re-opens on Saturday 22nd February with a sensational party to include canapés, cocktails, live music, DJs and entertainment. The brand’s legacy as a vodka bar remains prevalent, however the new menu also encapsulates everything from traditional flavours to unique cocktails and other premium spirits experiencing a renaissance, such as rum, gin and tequila. Classics like the Pornstar Martini still enjoy their rightful place on the list but have been joined by reinventions such as the ‘Shakers’ and ‘Copper Jug sharers’.

With an increased demand for affordable, quality food, Revolution has now made its food menu available from 12noon until 10pm, seven days a week. With a renewed focus on relaxed dining, customers can choose from stone baked pizzas, internationally inspired main dishes, snacks and smaller plates – ideal for sharing.

The bar’s general manager, Lee Gabell, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming back existing customers to our invigorated venue, and we hope the refined new look in this historic building will also encourage new custom. We have received a substantial investment and it really shows in the work that’s been done here. We are confident the invigorated venue will make Revolution Bath the best place in the city for cocktails and casual dining, and for dancing into the small hours.”
