Chrysler scrappage scheme announced

13th May 2009 Print
Chrysler UK Ltd is pleased to announce that it will participate in the Government’s vehicle scrappage scheme launching on Monday 18th May, 2009.

Following the Chancellor of the Exchequer’s announcement, Chrysler will also match the Government’s contribution of £1,000 against the purchase of a new vehicle to anyone who trades in a motor that is ten years or more.

The £2,000 scrappage incentive is incremental to Chrysler’s current offers on its new car range. Anyone interesting in scrapping their old vehicle for a new Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge should visit their nearest dealership for more information.

Federico Goretti, managing director of Chrysler UK Ltd, said: “ Chrysler welcomes the vehicle scrappage scheme and will continue to offer new and current customers great value-for-money products. It is a great opportunity to get motorists into cleaner, safer and more reliable vehicles.”

All Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models are covered by the comprehensive Chrysler warranty scheme, which provides a three-year/60,000 mile mechanical warranty, seven-year anti-corrosion warranty and one-year European roadside assistance.

Trade-in vehicles must be 10 years or over and must have been owned by their present keeper for a minimum of 12 months. Vehicles must have a current MOT certificate. UK Scrappage terms and conditions apply.
