After calling on business students to create the name for its new Huntingdon scheme – Linden Homes Midlands is finally preparing to officially launch the development this month.

With the brochure now complete and interest in the development rising, Saxon Gardens will open its show home doors during the weekend of June 14/15.

Saxon Gardens is located in the town’s California Road – adjacent to Huntingdonshire Regional College, whose students came up with the site name and branding.

The Year 2 students followed a brief from the Linden Homes, and a group of creative youngsters used the hands-on task to gain valuable experience as part of their studies.

The development will comprise 180 new homes, with a stunning selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes on offer from the award-winning house builder – just a mile from Huntingdon town centre yet within touching distance of the Cambridgeshire countryside.

Prices range from £154,950 to £259,950 and customers can beat the rush and reserve their preferred new home from plan ahead of the launch.

Buying off plan also presents many benefits. Contemporary kitchens and bathrooms, energy efficiency fittings and a 10-year National House Building Council (NHBC) protection are among the many advantages, as well as:

Selecting a plot with a sought-after south facing garden
Choosing preferred taste in bathroom wall tiles
Choosing preferred kitchen units and worktops
Having a blank canvas from which to plan your new home
Lower utility bills and reduced maintenance bills that new homes can offer
New materials used in the construction process also mean that new homes are more energy efficient than their older counterparts
