Keep yourself secure from prying eyes
You may be familiar with a VPN. You probably think of it as a corporate tool for business travelers and remote employees; something used to protect a company’s data. That is not the case.

How to use VyprVPN on iPhone
Download and install VyprVPN from the App Store and launch the default Settings application on your iPhone. Tap General – Network – VPN – Add VPN Configuration – PPTP, and enter the following description: VyprVPN
You will then be presented with some server options depending on which server you want to connect through. At this point, you can choose from any of these values (simply copy and paste them into the server address/description field:
- eu1.vpn.goldenfrog.com (Amsterdam)
- hk1.vpn.goldenfrog.com (Hong Kong)
- us1.vpn.goldenfrog.com (Los Angeles, CA)
- us1.vpn.goldenfrog.com (Washington, D.C.)
To connect VyprVPN with your iPhone, switch ON the VPN toggle in the Network menu. This is the last step required before you can go online through the Safari or a third party web browser. The VPN can be disconnected from the same menu by simply disabling the toggle.
You can download VyprVPN from the App Store. The app is also compatible with the iPad courtesy of a recent update from the developer.
