Pleasure Island Family Theme Park's offering can’t be beaten on value

The Pleasure Island Family Theme Park in Cleethorpes, Northeast Lincs, believes it’s got the best value day out to be had at any theme park this summer, as research shows its ticket prices are incredibly well priced, while its mix of activity for the family is second-to-none.

The East Lincolnshire attraction is full of family fun. Its white knuckle rides, including the popular Pendulus and the terrifying Boomerang, offer fantastic thrills for older children and adults, while younger ones can enjoy either pink knuckle rides and gentler experiences such as the mini mine train, or the kiddies rides, including mini dodgems, Go Gator and frog hopper.

The park also has its own Furry Friends Farm and Tractor Trail. The trail leads the passenger around paddocks of emus, alpacas, donkey and horse, piglets, very cute pygmy goats, ducks and sheep. Children have the opportunity to take part in bottle-feeding and just love watching the animals at play.

Add to this four different daily shows, offered within the ticket price, and the value really stacks up. Where other theme parks charge additionally for shows, or do not offer any, a Pleasure Island visitor gets this added value thrown in.

An African Acrobat Show features talented Tanzanian acrobats who enthral with their limbo, acrobatic and fire throwing display – something totally different to wow visitors. The Sea Lion Show is ever popular and always makes a splash, while the Bird Show and its cheeky parrots raise many a smile. Professor Tinkaboo’s Magic Factory, on the other hand, is all about fun and tricks to talk about for the rest of the day.

Great value also comes through short queues, that allow you to pack everything you want to try into one day, rather than waiting 30 or 40 minutes to get on a ride or having to pay extra for a fast-track ticket.

Although there is an on-site pub, fish and chip shop, kiosks and food mall, families are allowed to bring their own picnics in to the park and take advantage of its landscaped grassy areas for their al fresco feast. There is also free parking.

Head to Pleasure Island Family Theme Park this summer and you won’t be disappointed. There really is something for everyone!

Admission costs £19.50 for those 1 metre or over in height. For those under 1 metre entrance is free. A family ticket for any four paying visitors costs £72, while concessions enter for £12.50. More information is at pleasure-island.co.uk.
