Caterham’s Leicester-based dealership will be showcasing some of the brand’s most popular Seven models at the Leicester Mercury Motor Show on Sunday 17th August.

Amongst the cars on display at Leicester Racecourse will be Caterham’s most powerful production model, the Seven 620 R, as well as the newest addition to the range, the Seven 160.

Sitting at the top of the range, the Caterham Seven 620 R has a 310bhp, two-litre, supercharged Ford Duratec engine which achieves 0-60mph in under 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 155mph. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the Seven 160 is Caterham’s entry level model and is powered by an 80bhp, three-cylinder Suzuki engine, making it the most economical Seven ever built.

The popular Supersport R and Roadsport models will also be displayed by the iconic British sportscar manufacturer.

Experts from Caterham Midlands - the brand’s Earl Shilton-based showroom - will be offering hospitality from a brand new sales suite at the event and will be on hand to answer any car enthusiast’s questions.

Caterham Midlands is a sales and service facility providing parts and servicing, specialised race preparation and a fleet of hire cars to customers in the local area. The rurally-based showroom is perfectly-located for testing the Seven’s legendary handling on British country roads.

The Leicester Mercury Motor Show is on 17th August at Leicester Racecourse.
