Home-hunters will soon be able to take their pick from the first release of apartments at Taylor Wimpey’s hotly-anticipated Balham Walk development in Balham, south London.

This exciting new collection of 91 one, two and three-bedroom apartments will be launched for sale on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September from the leading housebuilder’s Devonshire Place development in Old Devonshire Road, Balham.

Anyone hoping to find their dream home at Balham Walk is being urged to attend the official opening or risk missing out.

Sarah Pasco, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “This stunning collection of brand new apartments is ideally situated for commuters, as it’s just a short walk from Balham underground station for Northern Line services, while regular rail services operate to Waterloo from the local overground station.

“Balham Walk also benefits from close proximity to a host of local shops, bars and restaurants, and is just a short hop from the wide open spaces of Clapham Common, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Bec Common.

“With interest levels in the development growing day by day, I’d advise would-be purchasers to attend our launch event on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September.”

Prices and further details of the apartments will be unveiled during the launch event at Devonshire Place development in Balham, where a show apartment is also available to view.

All new homes at Balham Walk will be completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double-glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Located in Boundaries Road in the London Borough of Wandsworth, Balham has undergone extensive regeneration and its town centre boasts high street shops, independent boutiques and supermarkets. It also has a thriving nightlife, with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and bars.

Parents will appreciate that there is a choice of schools for children of all ages, while Balham Leisure Centre boasts a gym, two workout studios, a sauna and a steam room.

Balham Walk is just a short journey on foot to the underground station, which is on the Northern Line, while there are also overground services to Waterloo and regular bus services into central London.

The Balham Walk launch takes place between 11am and 6pm on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September at Devonshire Place, located off Old Devonshire Road, Balham, SW12 9RB. The Devonshire Place show apartment will then be open Friday to Wednesday between the same times and from 12pm to 7pm on Thursdays. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
