Catford Green, Barratt London’s latest development, is located in the well-connected and culturally diverse neighborhood of Catford, SE6. This 11.6 acre site is comprised of 415 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, divided over thirteen buildings, including onsite retail and community space. Within the development, pathways link the nearby parks to the residences, whilst a new bridge will provide convenient access to existing shops.

Situated in Zone 3, Catford has been highlighted as one of the Mayor of London’s key regeneration zones in the multimillion pound ‘London Plan’. Catford Green, as part of this redevelopment, is creating a new neighborhood in this leafy suburb, perfect for young professionals and first time buyers with excellent links into central London.

Considerable renaturalisation work will be carried out on the Ravensbourne River, which flows through the 54 green acres of Ladywell Fields, located adjacent to the development. Offering tennis courts, a bowling green, skate park, café, football pitch and play area, Ladywell Fields is part of the Waterlink Way, a long distance cycle path and walking route that connects Sydenham with Creekside, Deptford.

Catford Green is very well-connected with both Catford and Catford Bridge train stations bordering the development. London’s major stations are all reachable in a 30 to 45 minute train journey, including St. Pancras International for connections to the continent. It’s just 11 minutes into London Bridge, where you can catch the underground, 17 minutes to the City and 24 minutes to Canary Wharf. The West End is reachable in around 30 minutes. South Circular is also close by, allowing for easy access across London. Moreover, City Airport can be reached in just over 20 minutes.

Gary Patrick, Regional Sales Director, Barratt London, comments: “Our Catford Green development is part of a wider regeneration programme of work taking place in the area, which is set to dramatically improve the facilities and amenities available to local residents. The area benefits from extensive transport links into central London allowing buyers access to the food quarter of London Bridge in 11 minutes and from there to wider London.”
