Ho ho ho, it's Christmas at The Heathfields

It's time to get out those festive jumpers and put on some classic Christmas songs, as this Saturday (13th December) Redrow is welcoming local residents to The Heathfields in Monkton Heathfield. Members of the public are invited to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies from 11am until 4pm to celebrate the arrival of the festive season.

Visitors who are still looking for homemade gift or decoration ideas will be able to attend drop-in workshops run by textile artist Jayne Emerson. Jayne will be on hand to teach visitors how to make felt robins and ivy decorations, which make perfect presents or ornaments for homes. With years of experience, including an appearance on Kirstie Allsopp's ‘Homemade Home’ television programme, Jayne is sure to pass on some fantastic crafting tips.

For those visitors looking to kick back and relax in preparation for Christmas, local business Matt Whitaker's Bikecaffe will be serving complimentary hot chocolate, mulled wine and mince pies.

All local residents are welcome to attend this community event, while any house hunters will also be able to explore The Heathfields's showhomes in all their festively-decorated glory. There are a variety of properties to explore, including the three bedroom Warwick, the four bedroom Stratford and Cambridge and five bedroom Hampstead.
