Renault’s dealer network is continuing to expand alongside its record-breaking growth in the UK market, in which the Renault Group has posted growth figures outperforming the market rate for the last 20 months. Brayleys Milton Keynes is the latest addition to the network, bringing the total number of sales sites serving the Renault and Dacia brands to over 150.

The new Renault and Dacia centre in Milton Keynes becomes the sixth franchise site under the Brayleys name, a dealership group that has a proven track record of high quality service, earning one of its branches “Motor Trader New Dealership of the Year” in 2013.

The dealership features a seven car showroom comprising cars from both the Renault and Dacia range and provides full aftersales and parts services. Both new and used vehicles are available, including both the Renault commercial vehicle and Z.E. electric vehicle line ups. The site is currently undergoing extensive expansion, with areas such as the used car section set to grow in size.

Commenting on the acquisition of their latest dealership, Paul Brayley, Managing Director of Brayleys, said: “Our new business in Milton Keynes breaks new ground for Brayleys as it marks the launch of our first business in Buckinghamshire as well as our first European manufacturer franchise. It’s a great time to be a Renault and Dacia dealer as we’re joining the network following the successful launch of a number of new models, and a period of prolific growth.  We are excited at the prospect of serving motorists across the county and helping to take the Renault and Dacia brands forward aligned to the GO5+ strategy.”

Darren Payne, Sales Director, Renault UK added: “We are delighted to welcome Paul and the Brayleys team to the Renault Group dealer network family. The awards they have received speak for themselves and it is quality like this we expect from all of our dealerships to ensure our customers have the best possible experience when buying and owning their Renault or Dacia. Our plan to expand the Renault Group dealer network is now gaining momentum in support of the Group’s mid-term plan as set out in our GO5+ strategy.”

As of the end of November, Renault Group (which comprises Renault cars and vans and Dacia brands) year-to-date sales stood at 99,479 vehicles, representing a market share of 3.8 per cent – up 48.7 per cent on the same period last year and are at their highest level since 2010. Renault cars represented 61,172 vehicles of that total and Renault vans 15,948 units. Dacia car sales stood at 22,359 vehicles and were up 48.1 per cent year-to-date.
