The Ritz Restaurant is celebrating St Valentine’s Day with one of its acclaimed dinner dances – ‘Live at The Ritz’, featuring renowned musician Peter O’Donnell and his band together with fabulous dancers performing the tango, rumba and salsa. The Ritz Restaurant, one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world, is one of very few to offer the timeless charm of a dinner dance with live entertainment. The vast floor to ceiling windows, the rich and varied use of soft pink, pale green and veined white marble, and the dazzling garlands of chandeliers reflected in the wall of panelled mirrors, combine to create one of the most spectacular interiors in London. Executive Chef, John Williams, MBE, has created an indulgent menu of the finest, freshest seasonal ingredients, and Head Sommelier Giovanni Ferlito has selected the perfect wines to accompany the meal. Guests can enjoy a sumptuous four-course dinner to a backdrop of classic and contemporary tunes, with dishes including: ballotine of goose liver with bergamot and ginger; turbot with cauliflower purée, apple gel and brown butter shellfish sauce; with a choice of fillet of beef with oxtail, Alsace bacon and red wine jus or Poached Bresse Chicken Champenoise; and chestnut Mont Blanc with Perigord truffle ice cream to finish. A vegetarian menu is also available. Following the final course, diners may then put on their dancing shoes and take a turn on the dance floor under the garland chandeliers, or simply soak up the ambience. St Valentine’s Day four-course dinner in The Ritz Restaurant is priced at £225 per person which includes a complimentary glass of Champagne on arrival.

For a traditional celebration, The Ritz will be offering a special Rose Champagne afternoon tea in its famous Palm Court to honour St Valentine’s Day. Enjoy a variety of 16 loose leaf teas and indulge in a selection of freshly cut finger sandwiches with six different fillings, warm baked scones and a selection of afternoon tea pastries. During afternoon tea, The Ritz London’s resident pianist Ian Gomes will delight you with renditions of classical favourites creating a romantic ambience for this special occasion.
