As one of the largest and most ambitious areas of regeneration in the UK, the face of Wembley has changed greatly over the past decade. With further exciting plans in the pipeline and investment on going, prospects are bright, making it an attractive area to buy property. Here Countryside has recently launched Parkside Place, a fantastic collection of new one, two and three bedroom duplex apartments that are proving popular among first time buyers.

Conveniently located in North West London, Wembley is in the Borough of Brent, which according to research by Halifax, was among the top ten best performing areas for property price growth last year at over 20%. Wembley’s massive programme of regeneration with the rebuilt stadium as its centrepiece has already had a far-reaching positive impact on the borough, transforming the local area and its long-term financial potential looks strong as improvements continue.

Parkside Place is ideally positioned to make the most of having the international leisure destination of Wembley Stadium and Arena on its doorstep, yet is peacefully situated alongside the green open spaces of Barham Park. It offers great transport links as well as all of the benefits of living in a high quality new build home.

Andrew Loveday, Sales and Marketing Director for Countryside comments: “Wembley has changed for the better in recent years. The area is gaining a buzz and vibrancy as an exciting place to live where there is always something happening. Upgrades to infrastructure and public transport systems ensure the area is better connected than ever and many of the improvements have been specifically designed to benefit people living locally. Parkside Place only launched in the autumn but interest has been strong, particularly from first time buyers who are looking for convenient urban living in an area with good prospects.”

A lively and diverse borough, Wembley’s extensive regeneration has brought a thriving new complex containing restaurants, cafes, a multiplex cinema and shops. The highly successful London Designer Outlet, the first of its kind in the capital, attracted five million visitors in its first year of trading. The new state of the art Brent Civic Centre features a library, exhibition and gallery space and community rooms with a programme of events, while plans are now under way for the regeneration of Wembley Park, which will include a theatre.

As a contrast to all of the excitement that Wembley has to offer, residents at Parkside Place can make use of the peaceful, leafy spaces of Barham Park, which is situated next to the development.

The apartments at Parkside Place are set across a series of sleek, contemporary buildings and offer spacious open plan interiors that come in a range of well-planned layouts, filled with natural light. All of the homes have private outdoor space in the form of balcony or terrace, while ground floor properties have secure enclosed gardens.

Interiors are finished with the superior specification that Countryside prides itself on. Fully fitted kitchens feature composite quartz worktops, contemporary gloss units and energy efficient integrated appliances. Bathrooms and en suites boast a light, natural palette contrasted with stylish chrome accessories and flooring is included throughout. All finishes are contemporary yet neutral providing a stylish, blank canvas on which residents can put their own stamp.

Designed with the environment in mind, Parkside Place includes a variety of environmentally friendly features to ensure a greener footprint. Low energy lighting and dual flush toilets reduce energy and water consumption, in turn lowering utility bills for residents, while recycling bins and bicycle storage are provided externally.

Parkside Place is conveniently placed for transport links meaning an easy commute into Central London. Less than half a mile away, Sudbury Town is the nearest tube station on the Piccadilly Line from where it is direct to the West End in around half an hour. Even closer, Sudbury and Harrow Road station on the overground line has services to Marylebone station in just 17minutes*. Parkside Place is also well served by several bus routes, while many local amenities are in comfortable walking distance making it easy to get about town.

Providing assistance to purchasers, many of the homes at Parkside Place are available through the Government’s ‘Help to Buy’ scheme where purchasers only need a 5% deposit. A 20% Government loan interest free for five years means that purchasers only have to finance a mortgage on the remaining 75% of the purchase price.

Properties at Parkside Place start from £255, 000 for a one bedroom apartment and £310,000 for a two bedroom apartment. For further information, visit parkside-place.net. Alternatively visit the Marketing Suite, open daily from 10am – 5pm.
