A new showhome has helped the much anticipated Redrow venture in Newton Kyme get off to a storming start, so much so that reservations are already into double figures.

Homes from two different Redrow collections make up neighbouring developments, St Andrew’s Place and The Rectory at Southbank, which are both proving popular.

With a fully furnished ‘York’ showhome now open at St Andrew’s Place and the ‘Henley’ due to open at The Rectory by the end of March, there’s plenty for potential home owners to see.

The Regent Collection homes of St Andrew’s Place boast Georgian architectural influences, while at The Rectory there are the the Arts & Crafts inspired exteriors of Redrow’s Heritage Collection.

Whichever ‘look and feel’ home buyers prefer, inside they’ll find a bright, modern home with a high quality specification, convivial open plan living spaces and an attention to detail that’s second to none.

Patsy Aicken, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire) said: “This is a lovely part of the country to live and Newton Kyme offers the best of both worlds – a village location and beautiful scenery, but with all the amenities you need within the surrounding area.

“We’re thrilled with the response so far. With a choice of homes from two different collections, customers are easily finding the Redrow home that’s perfect for them.

“Our York showhome lets them see the quality of build, attention to detail and excellent specification they can expect and we have already taken more than 10 reservations.”

As well as the impressive number of reservations, there are also five ‘Early Bird’ registrations in place, a system which gives people the first shout when the home they want is released for sale.

“For a refundable £500 deposit, they’re getting the right to first refusal on the home they really want and, when it’s released for sale, they’ll be able to make the most of the choices and optional extras that allow them to put a personal stamp on their home from day one,” Patsy explained.

The North Yorkshire village of Newton Kyme has much to offer, enjoying the beauty and tranquillity of surrounding countryside and the picturesque River Wharfe, but only a few minutes by car from Boston Spa, with its shops, post office, pubs, library and monthly farmers’ market.

The nearby towns of Wetherby and Tadcaster offer an even wider range of amenities, including a good choice of schools. The cities of Leeds, Harrogate and York are also readily accessible thanks to the proximity of the A1 and A64.
