The first properties from the hotly-anticipated Taylor Wimpey @ Kings Down collection, now under construction off Bath Road, are now available to purchase from the leading housebuilder’s nearby Wembdon Grange development.

Stunning three and four-bedroom homes are now being sold off-plan from only £165,000 and with interest in the development gathering pace, prospective purchasers are being urged to act quickly to secure their favourite plot.

Charlie Joseph, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Taylor Wimpey @ Kings Down has only been open for a few days, but we are already experiencing considerable interest in this fabulous collection of brand new homes in a popular location.

“This exceptional development offers a wealth of choice for a range of purchasers, from first-time buyers and downsizers through to professional couples and growing families. Anyone in the market for their dream home in Bridgwater should pay a visit to our nearby Wembdon Grange development as soon as they can – and discover their perfect match!”

There’s currently a choice of three-bedroom houses on sale at Taylor Wimpey @ Kings Down from £165,000, while four-bedroom properties are priced from £188,000.

The four-bedroom detached ‘Midford’, for example, is priced at £220,000 and features a light and airy kitchen/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a good-sized lounge, a utility room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground-floor layout.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, three further bedrooms and a family bathroom, while a garage and driveway parking are provided outside.

To make choosing a home at the development even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey offers a range of incentives to suit buyers in a range of circumstances – including the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, or the Part Exchange and easymover initiatives for those with a property to sell. Further details are available from the Sales Executive.

Kings Down is a popular new neighbourhood which is delivering new homes and community facilities in a well-connected location, with the famous 12m-high Willow Man sculpture forming a striking focal point for the community.

A new school – Willowdown Primary Academy – opened at the development in September 2014 while the newly opened Bridgwater Community Hospital is less than a mile away.

Bridgwater town centre is within easy reach of the new homes for an excellent choice of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs, as well as a lively music scene.

Meanwhile, the stunning scenery and wildlife of the Quantock Hills and the picturesque beauty of the Somerset Levels are right on the doorstep.

For commuters, junctions 23 and 24 of the M5 are easily accessible from the new homes, while Bridgwater railway station is only 1.5 miles away for direct services to Bristol, Exeter and Cardiff.
