Off plan success for new homes in Aylesford

Buyers are being urged not to let the grass grow under their feet if they want to own a new home at The Lawns in Aylesford.

Redrow has enjoyed a busy start to its development of 172 homes on land surrounding the historic Preston Hall. The development offers a choice of three, four and five-bedroom designs from the sought-after Heritage Collection set against a backdrop of mature trees and parkland.

Combining traditional Arts & Crafts inspired architecture and high specification interiors, the properties are in high demand.

Rachael Baillie, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), said: “The Lawns is off to a fantastic start with 13 homes reserved ‘off plan’. We also have several ‘early bird’ buyers waiting in the wings for their preferred properties to be released for sale. The rate of sales we’ve achieved to date demonstrates a confidence in the local market with people eager to reserve at the earliest opportunity.

“The fact that so many properties have been reserved ‘off plan’ is testament to the quality of our homes. Based on the success we’ve seen so far, we’re encouraging potential purchasers to register their interest so that we can help match them with their dream home, keep them updated as new phases are released for sale and invite them to visit the showhomes when they open next month.”

Current prices at The Lawns start from £399,995 with a five-bedroom detached Blenheim available from £714,995.

“Because we’re selling ‘off plan’ buyers will have lots of opportunities to customise their new home,” Rachael adds.

“The My Redrow feature of our website makes choosing things like the finish of the kitchen cabinets or the bathroom tiles really simple and straight forward and can be done at any time of day or night from wherever you access the internet.”

Those with a property to sell could use Redrow’s Mastermove service to secure a buyer, or in some circumstances, the housebuilder may even accept a customer’s home in part exchange.

Less than an hour from London by train and just minutes from the M20, The Lawns makes an ideal commuter base. The area is well served by schools, plus there are shops and leisure facilities both in Aylesford and nearby Maidstone.

The marketing suite at The Lawns is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. For more information, see redrow.co.uk/thelawns.
