Almost a third of new homes in Aylesford have already been sold and with show homes now open, Redrow is building on the success of The Lawns at Preston Hall Park.

While some eager buyers seized the opportunity to reserve ‘off plan’ as soon as their preferred property was released for sale, many more were keenly awaiting the opening of the show homes and in the first few days more than 75 potential purchasers viewed the properties.

Rachael Baillie, sales director for Redrow Homes (South East), said: “Redrow’s reputation for building high quality homes in sought-after neighbourhoods has undoubtedly played a part in the success of The Lawns, giving people the confidence to buy ‘off plan’. Now that the show homes are open and the development is taking shape we’ve seen an increase in enquiries and this has led to further sales. People really love the looks created by our Group interior design manager Emma Brindley in the four-bedroom Shaftesbury and Cambridge show homes.”

Spanning 1,410 square feet, the Shaftesbury is the larger of the two properties. On one side of the hallway, spanning from the front to the rear of the property, is an inviting lounge styled in green earthy tones and furnished with a walnut bookcase and lamp tables. On the opposite side of the house is an open plan kitchen, dining and family room finished in pale walnut to emphasise its spaciousness. A utility and cloakroom complete the ground floor.

Upstairs, neutral French grey and ochre white tones give the master bedroom and en-suite a sophisticated feel; while two of the bedrooms have been styled as children’s rooms to emphasise that it’s a family home.

In the neighbouring Cambridge, the lounge is to the front, with red tones in the soft furnishings added warmth to the Cornish clay colour palette; while the combined kitchen, dining and family room can be found at the rear of the property. There’s also a handy utility and a cloakroom.

In both properties the master bedroom benefits from an en-suite to complement the family bathroom.

The Lawns offers a choice of three and four-bedroom designs from Redrow’s Heritage Collection of Arts & Crafts inspired homes. Current prices start from £454,995, with a Shaftesbury in the same style of one of the show homes available from £469,995.

Located on London Road and less than an hour from the capital by train, the homes are an ideal commuter base. The M20 is just minutes away, plus there are shops and leisure facilities both in Aylesford and nearby Maidstone and with several schools in the area, it’s a great place to raise a family.

To appreciate all that a brand new Redrow home at The Lawns has to offer, visit the show homes, open daily from 10am to 5pm. For more information see redrow.co.uk/thelawns.
