Families who have outgrown their old home and are longing for more space can get even more for their money at Taylor Wimpey’s Woodford Meadows development in Woodford Halse, Northamptonshire, thanks to the Government’s Help to Buy scheme.

There’s a selection of attractive four-bedroom houses currently available at Woodford Meadows, priced from just £325,000, offering families the chance to secure ample living space in a sought-after village location for a great-value price!

What’s more, property-seekers can use the Help to Buy scheme to access an equity loan of up to 20% of their new home’s full price, so they only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit – which means they may be able to purchase a much bigger house than they had previously thought possible.

The four-bedroom detached ‘Shelford’ (plot 31), for example, is priced from £325,000 at Woodford Meadows and can be secured under Help to Buy with a mortgage of £243,750 and a deposit of £16,250.

What’s more, prices at Woodford Meadows compare favourably with those of secondhand homes in the surrounding area. Just 11 miles away in Banbury, for example, the average prices of typical three and four-bedroom properties are over £265,000 and £375,000 respectively.

Gareth Jacob, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, says: “Our high-quality properties at Woodford Meadows already represent exceptional value for money – and Help to Buy is making them even more affordable for purchasers looking to upgrade to a bigger home.

“In some cases, buyers who are considering older three-bedroom houses nearby may find that choosing a four-bedroom house with Help to Buy at Woodford Meadows could save them money on their monthly mortgage repayments – as with a 75% loan-to-value mortgage they can access a wider range of competitive mortgage deals.

“There’s an incredible amount of interest in the new homes here, so I’d advise anyone hoping to take advantage of this superb opportunity to act now – or risk missing out!”

The ‘Shelford’ features a wonderful kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden, plus a large lounge, a study and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway. Upstairs, the landing leads to four double bedrooms, including one with en-suite facilities, and a family bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from a garage and driveway parking.

Woodford Meadows enjoys a picturesque rural location in the charming village of Woodford Halse with a host of great facilities on the doorstep. There’s a choice of shops and a supermarket, a post office, a library and a pharmacy in the village, while Woodford Halse CofE Primary School is just a short walk away and secondary-age pupils are well catered for in nearby Daventry.

The local towns of Daventry and Banbury offer a fantastic range of shops, including the Castle Quay shopping complex in Banbury, plus a choice of leisure and entertainment opportunities. A little further away, Milton Keynes features department stores and high street retailers, a theatre, a cinema and a wealth of places to eat and drink.

The development offers easy access to both the M1 and the M40 for convenient links to Birmingham, London and the north. The A5 is less than eight miles away for connections to Milton Keynes, while Banbury railway station provides regular services to Birmingham, Manchester, London and Oxford.

To stand a chance of securing a four-bedroom home with Help to Buy at Woodford Meadows, property-seekers can visit the Sales Centre, located off Byfield Road, Woodford Halse, NN11 3QR, and open daily from 10am to 5pm and Mondays from 1pm to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk.
