Location and specification have sown the seeds for success at Cherry Tree Park, Stockport, which is blossoming into a vibrant new neighbourhood.

It’s less than six months since the show home was officially opened by the Mayor of Stockport Councillor Andrew Verdeille and Stockport Council Leader Councillor Sue Derbyshire and already more than half of the homes at Cherry Tree Park have been sold.

To date 28 of the 49 private sale properties have been reserved. And, as homeowners have begun moving in, it’s encouraging others to spring into action with homes being reserved almost as soon as they’re released on to the market.

With a growing number of people expressing an interest in properties yet to be released, potential purchasers are being encouraged to act now. They could even find that they’re just weeks away from moving as there are homes that will soon be ready to be occupied.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, says: “With homes at Cherry Tree Park selling fast potential purchasers may already be concerned that they will miss out on a move here. What they may not realise is that we do have a couple of homes that are nearing completion so if they act now they could be living in a brand new home within a matter of weeks.

“The townhouses currently available will enable homeowners to enjoy alfresco dining with ease in the summer as there’s direct access from the kitchen to the rear garden. Plus, because the Aldgate and Langley style properties are set out over three floors, the lounge is on the first floor, offering elevated views of open space.”

The three-bedroom Aldgate is priced from £299,995 and features an open plan kitchen and dining room to the ground floor, with French doors leading to the rear garden. The spacious lounge, a family bathroom and a bedroom are on the first floor. The master bedroom, complete with en-suite, and the third bedroom are on the top floor.

Priced from £324,995, the four-bedroom Langley features a similar ground floor layout. On the first floor, there’s a lounge, second bedroom and a shower room. On the top floor there are three further bedrooms, including master with en-suite, plus the family bathroom.

Both properties can be purchased using Help to Buy. The Government-backed scheme enables those with a 5% deposit to take out an equity for up to 20% of the purchase price. It means the Aldgate could be purchased for an initial outlay of £239,996; while the initial cost of the Langley is reduced to £259,996.

Situated in the prime residential suburb of Great Moor, Cherry Tree Park enjoys good local amenities including schools, a library and restaurants all within easy reach

The show home at the development is open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm. For more information, see elan-homes.co.uk/cherry-tree-park.
