Countryside has successfully launched a new phase of homes at its exciting Springhead Park development in Northfleet, Kent. This highly anticipated release of 113 new homes is located within the thriving Ebbsfleet Garden City community, set among tree lined boulevards and meticulously planned streetscapes.

In the recent unveiling of the proposals for the Ebbsfleet Garden City masterplan by the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC), the EDC anticipates a further 10,964 homes to be built in the area by 2025/26. Iain McPherson, Managing Director of New Homes and Communities South at Countryside, comments: “This is the ideal time to buy into Ebbsfleet Garden City, which is rapidly becoming a shining example of successful place making, creating a new community where people can live, work, study and relax. Buyers at Springhead Park are well positioned to benefit from massive inward investment and job creation, which will drive demand and support house price growth.”

Combining the best of urban and rural living, the new collection of two-bedroom coach houses and two, three and four-bedroom houses at Springhead Park will appeal to a wide cross section of buyers. Built in a combination of traditional and contemporary architecture, the homes are designed to create maximum space, light, comfort and security. French doors open onto the rear gardens, with roof lights which ensure that the open plan kitchen and dining spaces are flooded with natural light.

The 1.0 hectare (2.5 acre) Central Park contributes to forming the hub of the community, with wide open spaces to run, walk and cycle, a children’s play area and Linear Park filled with wild flower grasslands, trees and shrubs. Springhead Park will ultimately comprise 800 new homes, almost 300 of which have already been built, carefully designed to blend in to the leafy, green surroundings.

Ebbsfleet Garden City aims to be a commercial centre of national significance, creating over 17 million sq ft of residential, business and community space, as well as 20,000 new jobs. Having launched in time for the Christmas shopping season, new residents will benefit from being located within minutes of Bluewater, one of the UK’s premier retail destinations, boasting over 350 shops and 50 cafes/restaurants packed with Christmas events and giveaways.

The Paramount London Entertainment Resort, due to open in 2021, will be twice the size of the Olympic Park, provide up to 27,000 jobs and offer a range of attractions including an indoor water park, theatres, cinemas and hotels.

Just 20 miles south east of London, Springhead Park is ideally placed for commuters, with Kings Cross St Pancras just 17 minutes away by train, departing approximately every 15 minutes. Direct services reach Paris in just over two hours and Brussels in an hour and forty minutes. The FastTrack bus service also operates in Springhead Park, making travel to the station and Bluewater easy and quick.

Three bedroom homes are available from £340,000 and four bedroom properties from £442,500. For more information, visit springheadpark.co.uk.
