Vauxhall Movano Combi - seriously big and seriously practical!

The Vauxhall Movano has always been the perfect van for seriously big loads, and now it can carry a seriously big crew as well!

The new Movano Combi model is extremely versatile and is aimed at customers who need a flexible vehicle capable of carrying a team of people along with luggage, tools or equipment.

Two wheelbases are available – short and medium with high or low roofs – and are available semi-glazed with seating for six, or fully glazed with seating for nine. All models get an anti-slip floor cover to keep loads from moving around, while for passenger safety all of the seats come with proper three-point seatbelts.

MWB vehicles differ from SWBs in that they’re classified for tax purposes as commercial vehicles, and have been designed with aftermarket modifications in mind. Unlike the SWB, which comes with fully trimmed interior panels and a full-length headlining, the MWB is left untrimmed so owners can add racking or extra storage, and tailor the van to suit their own application.

What’s more, all nine-seat versions are currently exempt from the London Congestion Charge providing customers register them with Transport for London in advance, making the Movano Combi the perfect vehicle for getting crews of workers into the city.

All Movano Combis are powered by a new Euro IV compliant 2.5-litre common rail diesel engine, with two power outputs – 100PS and 146PS – while a six-speed manual gearbox is fitted as standard. Vauxhall’s excellent Tecshift clutchless transmission is also available on 100PS models.

Prices start at £17,895 ex VAT for the semi-glazed six-seat 2800 2.5 CDTi 100PS, rising to £23,795 ex VAT for the 3500 2.5CDTi 16v 146PS model. All Movano models benefit from a three-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus the support of Vauxhall’s Premier Service Centres, with LCV trained technicians, longer opening hours and a commitment to maximise mobility while minimising downtime.
